On driving to my sunrise location I could see the red in the clouds 50 minutes for the set sunrise time. As I was shooting this scene everything was shot correctly according to my histogram or so I thought. When previewing the images later a key fault was found with the majority of the shots. The red channel had blown. This tutorial looks and discusses remedies to prevent this from happening and also shows a Camera RAW / Photohshop solution to salvaging what you can from the images.
